Edenglen High School Majorettes fondly known as “The Blues” was founded in 1981. We are the second oldest active team in the country, being 44 years old this year.
Edenglen remains one of the top teams in the province as well as the country.
We have 57 girls, from various backgrounds and upbringings and all different walks of life. We have no feeder school so we take brand new Grade 8s which we guide and mentor to compete against the best of the best in the country.
Edenglen “The Blues” provides the girls with lifelong lessons to ensure that they not only succeed in many aspects of school life but become well rounded, successful adults.
As we compete in the Elite league, we are required to participate in all categories. We are in desperate need of new props in order for us to develop our skills further and to enhance our talents to improve on our Provincial and National results.
To further assist the team and ensuring that we retain our position in the Elite League, we are hoping that with this incredible raffle, we can get our girls down to Oudtshoorn to compete at the National Championship in July.
